Scott Hawaii had its start in 1932 after founders Elmer and Jean Scott moved from Marblehead, MA. to the Territory of Hawaii. Coming from a lineage of shoe makers, they first started making boot for plantation workers then changed to making sandals for the locals and the "slippah" was born.
Scott Hawaii was born of the principles, dedication and vision it takes to drive a couple almost 6000 miles away to an unfamiliar land to start a business. Now in its third generation, these principles are still in place today. Although the styling has come a long way, the quality and attention to detail are still the same. We hope you appreciate our footwear as much as we do our story and this place we call home, Hawaii.
